Sapphire technology

Sapphire is an aluminum oxide single crystal, also known as corundum. Because of its excellent mechanical, optical, chemical, and anti-radiation properties, it is widely used by heavy industry in recent years, because its wide range of optical penetration from the near-UV wavelength 190mm to 5500mm mid-infrared wavelengths of light, sapphire has a very good light transmission, thus the sapphire which is production of LED substrate also greatly enhance the market demand.

 

 

 Domestic industry is in great demand for sapphire, but almost all rely on importing from the United States, Japan, Russia and other countries, it mainly due to lack of technical personnel in growth of sapphire crystals inland.

 

 

Introduction:

 

1: large-size tubular heat shield which is used in crystal growth of high melting point , includes a set of tungsten sheets and molybdenum sheets. Its interval between layers us 1-5mm.

 

2: heat shield and the crucible are in the same axis. its characteristics is the uneven thickness of tungsten sheets and molybdenum sheets. two layers of sheets closest to the crucible is most thick., the thickness of each layer is 2mm, the other layers away from the crucible is shiner, thickness is 1mm. .

 

3: each layer of sheet metal cylinder placed between the columns are 5 ~ 7mm intervals.

 

4: heat shield is placed in a metal kit, which is a heat-resistant iron-based alloys , the bottom edge is made of the heat-resistant iron-based alloys, and is welded with metal sleeve

 

5: outer layer of its characteristics is described in a quarter of the column tube and the inner layer of the central axis connecting two sheet metal seam coincide,

 

6: the first shin sheet of innermost layer is welded. And intervals stay 2-5mm gap.

 

7: each side by collecting each piece of sheet is set an eye ,collected together by rivets.
