Tri-mix tungsten electrode (AWS classification EWX) combines three non-radioactive materials(La2O3,Y2O3,CeO2) into one tungsten. Depending on strong capability in R&D,BTM Group successfully presided over the tri-mix tungsten electrode project, which is one of the State 863 High new technology R&D project. After thousands tests, We successfully found the best composition among the three non-radioactive elements. the goal was to make the best possible tungsten by balancing the migration and evaporation rates, while keeping the work function down. It starts and reignites very well and offers a particularly excellent service life in welding situations where welding cycles of at least 15 minutes are used. Now this Tri-mix tungsten electrode has been successfully exported to European, American countries and Japan. which is the best seller in the tungsten electrode family.
